The Sangha of Naga Maha Viharaya
The venerable Sangha resident at the temple guide its spiritual life and are engaged in a great mission for the long endurance of the Buddha's dispensation. Conducting Poya day religious programmes and Dhamma sermons, guiding the children's growth in virtue, concentration and wisdom through the Daham Pasala, and working for the good and welfare of the community — this is their noble service to the Sasana.

Chief Incumbent of Naga Maha Viharaya. A Senior Lecturer at the Nilwala National College of Education in Matara, Principal of the Sri Vipula Tissa Daham Pasala, and a member of the Governing Council of the University of Ruhuna.

He studied at the Sariputta National College of Education from 2014 to 2017, and today serves as a teacher at Mahamathya National School.
Under the guidance and counsel of the temple's Chief Incumbent, he also carries the responsibility for running the Vipulatissa Daham Pasala. Introducing its children to the core teachings of the Buddha, to moral values and to good habits of life, he makes a valuable contribution to their spiritual growth and character.
Guided by the noble aim of raising, through Dhamma education, a generation rich in virtue and useful to society, and balancing his role as a teacher with his service to the Sasana, Venerable Saradha Thero's work is a great strength to the growth of the Vipulatissa Daham Pasala.
